Spring Wreath
The Paper Players challenge this week is a Theme Challenge: PP383 "Spring has Sprung!" My design for this challenge is below.
To re-create my card you will need a White card base (5 x 5") and a piece of Dark Pink Fun Foam (4 3/4 x 4 3/4") adhered with foam tape on the front of the card base.
The stamped image was on a piece of White card stock (4 x 4"). This was created using a Wreath Template. I got this idea from Stampin' Sacha's You Tube video tutorial Stampin' Up Perennial Birthday Wreath. I created my own acetate template with Sacha's directions. I used this on my stamp positioning tool along with the Stampin' Up Perennial Birthday Stamp Set. The ink used was Memento Dewdrops (Lilac Posies, Grape Jelly, Elderberry and Bamboos Shoots). I rubbed some Bamboo Shoot ink and Grape Jelly ink on to an acetate block and with my Aqua pen I filled in the main flowers and leaves of the wreath. I adhered this to the Fun Foam with strong sticky tape.
I then cut a piece of White card stock (3 1/2 x 3/4") and stamped the sentiment "Today blooms just for you". I cut a banner end, adhered this to the bottom of the card stock on foam pads. To complete my project I put three medium sized pearls to the left-hand side of the banner. I stamped one of the flowers inside the card and onto the envelope too. This completed my project.
I would love to know what you think about my project, so please leave a comment. Thank you.
Till next time, keep crafting!

The pink card behind your flower wreath just finished off this card and really brought out the colours Lorraine.
