Framed House Decor

Framed House Decor

Gez set the Design Team Project for 18-22 June 2018 - Home decor frame.  She created a frame herself and put a video tutorial of this on her YouTube Channel.  The album of the other created items can be found on the Stampin' FOR ALL group Facebook page.

This is Gez's example of her Framed House Decor:

This is my submission for the Framed House Decor Design Team Project:

To create mine, I had a frame in my craft stash already, so using the Build an Apron stamp set and dies I cut out a black apron, a black pocket, neck ribbon and apron ties.  I die cut a silver pair of scissors and a cream knife (to represent a bone folder).  The Stampin' Up! label came from a page of the grid paper.  These pieces were all glued together with wet glue first.

Then I cut a piece of cream card stock to fit the back of the frame and I stamped randomly in Black Memento ink, "I 💜 stamping" all over this piece of card stock.  On another piece of cream card stock I stamped the sentiment "Made with Love" in black Memento ink which is also from the Apron Builder stamp set.  I backed this with a piece of red card stock and adhered it diagonally to the top left-hand corner of the frame.

I used the stems and flower images from Apron Builder and stamped these across the bottom of the frame in green for the stems and yellow for the flowers.

This completed my 'Framed House Decor'; I love it and it presently is sitting on my windowsill because I am not sure whether to keep it or gift it!

Thank you for coming to visit my blog page, if you liked this blog please leave me some feedback, thank you.

Till next time, keep crafting!

  1. Lorraine I have finally found your blog! I am flowing it but for some reason I have not found it, I have enjoyed scrolling through it and then stoped when I saw this one. I really loved your entry for this challenge and I'd like to say thank you for showing my project as well.
Now I have found you I can come back and enjoy your creations some more - but for now its bed time! lol
