Strawberry Fruit Basket Cards
So with some 31/2" square coloured card bases in my craft stash and my Stampin' Up Fruit Basket Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper (DSP) I created a number of different note cards for different occasions. This one above has a 3" square of strawberry DSP adhered straight on top of the card base with a 2 1/2" square of white card stock stamped with the strawberries, bowl and the sentiment 'Thank You'. Each strawberry's outline is stamped in Soft Suede Stampin' Up ink, then the fruit part is stamped first in Memento Dewdrop Lady Bug and then with Memento Dewdrop Love Letter. The leaves were stamped first in Memento Dewdrop Pear Tart and then Memento Dewdrop Bamboo Leaves. I used a stamp positioning tool to ensure that each part of the strawberry lined up when it was stamped.
Below the next note card was purple and the stamped images are three strawberries with the sentiment 'You are the sweetest!'
The next two note cards were both purple as well but I cut down the DSP so that it left a 1/2" gap at the top of the base card. Then I punched two holes with the hole punch near each other and threaded red ribbon in through both holes from the back of the front panel of the card base. I then tied a bow and cut off the excess ribbon. The image stamped on both note cards was a single strawberry, but the sentiments differed, one was stamped 'happy birthday' and the other was stamped 'yay!'
Below are two note cards that were silver in colour. These both had the DSP cut with a 1/4" border bigger than the white card stock in the middle. One of the images stamped was a single strawberry whereas the other was a fruit bowl with two strawberries in it. Both these note cards had the holes punched out for the ribbon and bow at the top left-hand corners.
The last of the note cards was also a silver colour and this had two pieces of the DSP adhered at the top left-hand corner and the bottom right-hand corner of the card base. The white card stock had two strawberries stamped on it and the sentiment 'Thank You'.
There were 7 note cards in total, each one was a little different to the next. It is handy to have note cards ready in your card stash for different occasions because you never know when you are going to need a card. My strawberry note cards were now complete.
I would love to know what you think about my project, so please leave a comment. Thank you.
Till next time, keep crafting!
