Wild Flowers
The Color Throwdown Card Challenge this week is #492 and involves the colours Red, Pale Yellow and Grey.
My design for this card challenge is as below:
To create my design, I first found a White card stock (4 x 6") ready-made card base (Top folding). I then trimmed another piece of White card stock to give me a good (1/4") border (5 1/2 x 3 1/2") on which I would stamp my design. I used my Memento Dewdrop Inks (Lady Bug - Red, London Fog - Grey, Dandelion - Yellow, Tangelo - Orange and Sweet Plum - Purple) to stamp out the design. The background was stamped using a scattered pattern rectangle repeatedly. The flowers were two different design wild flower stamp which were stamped at different heights to create a meadow of wild flowers. I then cut out a sentiment in Red card stock "Thank You" on the Big Shot and adhered this to the top left-hand corner of the card.
This was a fairly quick and simple design today for my card but it was very effective I hope you agree. My project was now complete.

On the envelope I stamped the sentiment "Happy Mail" and the duck delivering the envelope image so that the recipient would know that they did not have a bill! 😀
I would love to know what you think about my projects, so please leave a comment. Thank you.
Till next time, keep crafting!
