Shadow Cards

Shadow Cards

Every month I receive my PaperCrafters Magazine from aceville that I subscribe to.  In Issue 121, the free gift was a "Shadow Card Kit" with enough resources to make two different Shadow Cards.

Each card is made up of (x3) pieces of coloured card stock (15 cm x 21 cm).  On two of the pieces of card stock a (4") circle needs to be die cut out of the centre. (Ensuring that both circles match up).

Then each piece of card stock is scored at (1cm, 2cm and 3 cm) at both edges.  These score lines need to be folded and burnished into a concertina.

Next starting from the back piece, adhere the images you want on your design.  Then using strong double sided tape adhere the next piece of card stock together at the concertina.  Add images to this piece again and repeat as before.

Finally trim a piece of coloured card stock (15cm x 17 cm) and adhere this to the back of the Shadow card for the greeting to be written on.

The final measurement of these cards is (15cm x 15cm x 4cm).  They are quite deep so a box might be necessary if you are sending them through the mail.
